We're open; we're here and we're ready to meet with you.
Summer classes are being instructed remotely and the physical campus is closed; however, your deans are still here to help you. Regular hours of operation are in effect (8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. M-F). We are conducting meetings via telephone or video conference. Please schedule appointments through your class dean as usual via the web portal. Don't hesitate to meet with us; we are accessible whether you are takinng summer classes or not.
Because we are not in the office, we have limited access to telephones and recommend using the email addresses below for day to day business.

The Student Success portfolio engages all students in authoring their unique definition of success. Through advocacy, instruction, support, and mentoring, Student Success intentionally empowers students to achieve their academic and personal goals.
The Student Success portfolio works with students to develop plans to achieve their personal, academic, and leadership goals. The Portfolio provides capacity building activities which promote success for all students and preparation for global leadership.
Major areas of the Student Success portfolio include the Undergraduate Class Deans, First-Year Experience (including Navigating Rensselaer and Beyond programs), parent and family programs, the Graduate Student Experience, supporting underrepresented students, and the Archer Center for Student Leadership Development.
Additionally, Student Success manages RPI policies and procedures in regards to excused absences, leaves of absence, withdrawals, and readmission.
