Queer and Trans People in Education (QTPiE) invites proposals from emerging scholars interested in queer and trans education research. This grant supports collaborative quantitative research that advances equity for queer and trans people in education.

Grant benefits include:

• $1,500 stipend
• Collaboration with QTPiE members on a Summer 2026 quantitative research project
• Opportunity to present findings to a national audience

We seek emerging scholars interested in building quantitative research skills and who demonstrate a commitment to educational liberation for queer and trans people. We especially encourage applications from QT BIPOC, trans and nonbinary, and QT disabled scholars.

Who can apply:

• Doctoral students
• Postdocs
• Independent researchers (within 3 years of doctorate)
• Early career faculty (within 3 years of entering the professoriate)
• Practitioner scholars in higher education or nonprofit settings
