For the health and safety of our students and families, orientation will be delivered remotely. We have created a robust summer schedule for both students and parents. Please see the full schedule under the timeline tab. We will continue to add to the timeline throughout the summer so please visit the website frequently. We look forward to being a part of your successful first year at Rensselaer.

Email #1 to students

The Campus Card Office is now accepting photo submissions for your Rensselaer ID card.  This submission is due by July 10th.

This email will share directions on how to access Modules 1 & 2 (Academic Overview and Life on Campus). Check your RPI email to get started. These modules are required. Module 1 Due July 10, Module 2 due July 15. Registration opens for Parents to sign up for book club. New housing application deadline to be announced.

Webinar: How to get the most out of meeting with your advisor, 4:00 p.m. 

The Advising & Learning Assistance Center (ALAC) wants to prepare you for a successful advising and registration experience. Learn how to work best with your advisor and get the most out of your meeting with them. Register here. (please note registration opens 7 days prior to event)

Hosted by Rensselaer's Student Health Center, parents will get an overview of the services students have access to and our recommendation for mental and physical health as a college student. This session will focus on how to becoming involved and engaged with the Rensselaer Student Union. The topics of interest will include Club Sports, Intramurals, and Campus Recreation. Join here.

This module will cover information on our sexual misconduct policy, how to be a good community member, and how to support everyone in your new community. This module is required and due August 1.

Due to COVID-19 Pandemic, we are currently unable to provide a finalized timeline for August arrival and moving in.
