NRB Overnight Participant Schedule | August 19-20, 2026
We're excited to welcome you and your family to campus before your NRB overnight trip! August 19th's program allows you and your family the opportunity to settle into RPI. Then, on August 20th, you will leave for your overnight trip in the early morning. All students will return from their NRB overnight trip on August 22nd.
Details related to your specific NRB Overnight Trip will be sent to your RPI email at the end of July.

10 a.m.–1 p.m. | Move-In | ECAV
Students participating in an NRB Overnight Trip will move in on August 19, 2026. Check your RPI email for more information, including your assigned move in time.
4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. | NRB Overnight Pre-Trip Meetings
All trip participants should plan to attend a brief informational meeting. Your guests and family members are welcome to attend the meeting with you.
Meeting locations will be shared soon.
5–7 p.m. | NRB Welcome BBQ | '86 Field
After the pre-trip meetings, you and your family are invited to join Institute Leadership, Student Staff, and the Orientation Team at ’86 field for a welcome dinner.
8 p.m. | Floor Meeting (Students Only) | Residence Hall with RA
Return to your residence hall for the night for a required introduction and safety briefing.

NRB Trip Departure | Rensselaer Union, Horseshoe Lobby
Students will depart from the Horseshoe Lobby, located in the Rensselaer Union.
Trip departure times will be sent to your RPI email.
Saturday, August 22, 2026
NRB Trips Return | Rensselaer Union, Horseshoe Lobby
Students will return to campus in the early afternoon.
Approximate arrival times will be sent to your RPI email.
