The Undergraduate Student Relief Fund was created to help Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute students who have experienced an unexpected financial hardship that threatens their academic progress. The Fund is a one-time grant, up to $2,000, for matriculated undergraduate students in immediate financial need, covering a variety of emergency and basic living expenses.

*The fund will cannot provide support for personal travel, criminal or civil court cases, or expenses that are extravagant or non-utilitarian.

How to Apply

If you believe you could benefit from the Student Relief Fund, schedule an appointment with your Class Dean for more information. If approved, you will be notified via email by the Student Relief Committee.
